Mix and Master Services

We offer a stem Mix and Master service by "The Mars Citizen" for improve your tracks and get featured on our label more easy.

Examples of our work

When mastering from Stems you will submit multiple stereo tracks that have consolidated instruments. For example an artist might submit 5 stereo Wav files 'Stems' one containing all the drums, one with bass guitar, one with all guitars, one with lead vocals, and one with all the background vocals. Our engineer would then work with each individual stem adjusting frequencies and levels to create a balanced mix. When he has finished adjusting the stems, they are combined and mastered to create a finished song. Since we have access to each separated group of instruments there are more options for the engineer to make adjustments and correct problems.

How to prepare tracks for “Audio-Mastering“

When submitting a mix for mastering:

The file should be kept in the same resolution as it was mixed in (no down conversions).
For Example:
Bitrate: 24bit or higher
Samplerate: 44.1khz or higher

Please turn off all dynamic plugins or hardware before exporting your track.
No sum-compression or limiting of the mixdown signal.
Please keep at least 2 seconds of silence at the beginning & especially at the end of each track.
The signal of the Master / Stereo Out channel should be around -6 / -5 dB as maximum, never above, to leave a sufficient margin when applying the compression process.
